Cardinal Court
Overview
Cardinal Court houses 894 undergraduate students (primarily sophomores, though juniors and seniors can request to live in, too) in 227 furnished apartments. It provides a unique opportunity to experience apartment-style living with the benefits of living in university-owned housing, including:
- No landlord/leases - Your contract is through the University, for returning students, this is similar to how you signed up for your residence hall room freshman year
- Higher security than off-campus living
- Access to all University Housing Services staff members - You can count on an Area Coordinator, Complex Coordinator, and Community Assistants similar to the residence halls, these staff members are here to guarantee your success on-campus
- Financial stability - Your payment, just like when living in the residence hall, is handled through the University, not a third-party, bank, or personal account
- Facility Amenities
Cardinal Court Apartments include a variety of amenities to help students enjoy their time learning, working, and having fun. A few of the amenities students can enjoy include:
- Secure building entrances locked 24 hours a day.
- Wireless Internet access
- Privacy half-wall in shared bedrooms
- Community Center with Subway restaurant, gymnasium, fitness center, game area (pool table and foosball), lounging area with TV, meeting rooms, and reception desk.
- Outdoor basketball and sand volleyball courts.

Cardinal Court provides fully-furnished apartments.

Kitchen:
All appliances, stools. Full kitchens include a dishwasher, microwave, stove, and refrigerator with ice maker. Residents will provide their own dishes, cookware, and cutlery.
Appliance Manuals
The manuals below can be checked as general guides, but a work order should always be filled out should something need maintenance. If you have any further questions, please contact the front desk.
- Laundry
The laundry rooms in Cypress, Dogwood, and Evergreen Halls are located on the second and fourth floors of each building and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
All laundry machines can be used at no additional charge. Either HE (high efficiency) or regular detergent may be used.
The LaundryView Monitoring System shows which machines are available and how much time remains on them. You can also use the site to send you a text when your machine is done. Visit the site at www.laundryview.com to see more!

Parking is included in the cost of this complex. All residents have the opportunity to obtain a parking permit to park at the complex. These permits are available when commuter permit sales begin, typically in July. Guest parking is available in the Cardinal Court lot between 7:00 p.m. on Fridays and 4:00 a.m. on Mondays. Outside of this time frame, only cars with approved Cardinal Court parking permits are allowed in this lot and guests may obtain a temporary guest pass from the Office of Parking and Transportation. Permits must be obtained from the Office of Parking and Transportation.
