Housing Contract Renewal

The process current residence hall students follow to submit a housing and dining contract for the following year and choose a room is known as "contract renewal". As a current resident, you have priority over off-campus and new students to select a room for the 2023-2024 year.

This process opens on February 2023. What's great about our process is that it is online and real time - you will see up-to-the-minute room spaces that are available to you. Also, this process allows you to change your mind. If you want to select a different room or roommate or change your meal plan - you can!

    Renew your contracts, select a different room/roommate, or change your meal plan in the online Housing & Dining Portal. Create a contract and roommate profile to connect with other students and choose a roommate.

Notes for Renewing a Contract

Please refer to the Important Dates to determine what processes are open in contract renewal. Some important things to note:

  • Current students will not receive priority to reserve their current room but may select that space if available.
  • Once the portal is open, any student can select from available rooms.
  • You may also reserve a space for the desired roommate as long as they have completed a housing contract and you are mutually confirmed in the Housing and Dining Portal.
  • You must fill the room you choose during room selection. This means that if it is a double room, you have to bring in a roommate to fill both beds.
